Panelist
Scott has acted as a panelist in more than 500 Internet domain name and similar alternative dispute resolution(ADR) proceedings since 2003 for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a United Nations body based in Geneva, and for the National Arbitration Forum (FORUM). He adjudicates online trademark disputes involving parties from all over the world and writes panel decisions in English or French.
Advisor
Scott advises clients on ADR options and proceedings, including social media platform remedies, in cases of copyright and trademark infringement and other abusive conduct online and in social media.

Advisor and Project Manager
Scott has served for many years as an executive industry advisor and project manager for the Brussels-based First Law International network of independent law firms. He specializes in coordinating multi-jurisdictional IT, telecommunications, and data protection projects. These typically involve national law firms teamed with technical experts in multiple countries handling business transactions, regulatory approvals and compliance advice, data protection and security audits, and security incident response.
Scott served for three years as an external privacy advisor to the United States Social Security Administration. He also participated as a foreign expert in the intergovernmental European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Horizon 2020 project on digital human rights.

Scott has co-authored research papers and draft legislation on Internet and telecommunications business and regulatory issues for US Congressional committees, the European Commission, the Council of Europe, the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the United States Department of Commerce, AmeriCorps (the Corporation for National and Community Service), the US Financial Services Industry Advisory Group, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Goldman Sachs, Burton Group, and Jeitosa Group International.
